Inspiring Compassion for Peace

INSPIRING COMPASSION FOR PEACE: This event, part of the Year of Compassion, serves to honor the Dalai Lama’s 90th birthday and seeks to inspire peace. Held at the Ruth Haas Library on the Midtown campus from noon to 4 p.m., it will feature an exhibit and welcome; opening Buddhist prayer; speeches by Dr. John Briggs and Richen Dharlo, a former representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama; and Tibetan performances and videos.
