Laughter Yoga

LAUGHTER YOGA: Who does not love to laugh? Children laugh all day long — adults not so much. Laughter Yoga was invented in the mid 1990s by Dr. Madan Kataria. Dr. Silvana Coza-Nokovic trained with him to be a laughter yoga therapist and she brings fun and laughter to us here at WestConn. Join us at noon in Room 114 of White Hall on the Midtown campus for 30 minutes of laughter and fun. Laughter improves our blood circulation, our respiration rate, and releases endorphins — the “feel good” hormones that counteract the stress hormones. No experience is necessary — just a desire to laugh with friends!
