PERMACULTURE GARDEN OPPORTUNITIES: Join members of the Jane Goodall Center and Roots & Shoots in the university’s Permaculture Garden adjacent to the Science Building on the Midtown campus. Please bring water and wear clothes that can get dirty. Gloves and tools will be provided! From 2 to 3 p.m. on April 2, 16 and 30; and May 7.

• Thursday, April 2, 2-3 p.m. – Plant early spring crops
• Thursday, April 16. 2-3 p.m. – Weed and thin spring crops
• Thursday, April 30. 2-3 p.m. – Transplant native seedlings
• Thursday, May 7.  2-3 p.m. – Plant for summer.
