Wolves Day of Giving (WDG) Schedule

8 a.m. – 11 a.m.

Campus Kick-Off Celebration
Location: Berkshire Hall, Midtown campus
Audience: Faculty/Staff/Alumni/Board Members/Sponsors/Danbury Community

• Bagels & Breakfast Bites will be served.
• Wolf Spirit Challenge: Wear your favorite WestConn gear and participate as an individual, group, or department/office.
  • Prize: $500 for your favorite fund (+ pizza party for 8)

11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Story Time
Location: Haas Library, Midtown campus
Audience: All

• Gather ‘round, dear Wolves, and listen to a librarian read your childhood favorites. Have a story that’s particularly special? Bring it! Or choose from our selection.

11 a.m. – 1 pm

Pantry Tours & Book Sale
Location: Wolves Den (ground floor, Midtown Student Center)
Audience: All

• Stop by Wally’s Cupboard for a tour of the pantry and don’t miss our book sale fundraiser!

noon – 2 p.m.

Wolf Games
Location: Berkshire Hall, Midtown campus
Audience: Students

• Refreshments & snacks will be served.
• Wolf Spirit Challenge: Wear your favorite WestConn gear and participate as an individual or group.

What’s the Scoop? – Come check out the School with Heart!

Location: School of Professional Studies, White Hall, Room 127, Midtown campus
Audience: All

• Refreshments will be served including Scoops of Popcorn and Candy
• Get the scoop on life saving skills:  free CPR demonstrations throughout the event
• Contribute towards creating fleece blankets for area shelters
• Prizes & Incentives to donate or share on social media, with special bonuses for payroll deduction donors and more!

5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Mid-Point Mania Meetup: Happy Hour
Location: VPAC, Westside campus

Audience: Faculty/Staff/Alumni/Board Members/Sponsors/Danbury Community

• Color and Light Exhibit in the Gallery, Jazz Trio
• Appetizers, mini-desserts, and drinks will be served
• Wolf Spirit Challenge: Wear your favorite WestConn gear and participate as an individual, group, or department/office
  • Prize: $500 for your favorite fund (+ pizza party for 8).
• Prizes & Incentives to donate or share on social media including 10 pairs of tickets to Sunday in the Park with George and chances to win a pair of tickets to Sip and Create event of your choice.

Discussion & Raffle
Location: Haas Library lobby, Midtown campus
Audience: All

• Join us for a discussion on food insecurity hosted by Wally’s Cupboard. And be sure to stick around for the raffle!

Sunday in the Park with George (Dress Rehearsal)
Location: VPAC Main Stage Theatre, Westside campus

• Free for Faculty/Staff/Students.

Bingo
Location: Westside Campus Center Ballroom
Audience: Students

• Presented by the PAC and supported by the SGA.
• Refreshments & snacks will be served.

Prizes & Incentives to Give and Share on Social Media

Payroll Deduction:  Sign up for a payroll deduction donation at any time throughout the day and get 3 extra Grand Prize Raffle tickets.  Attend one of the events and the first 10 people to sign up can choose a Camp Chair or a Golf Umbrella + 3 extra raffle tickets.

Any Donation:  Raffle Ticket for one of 3 Grand Prizes

Social Media Share:  Share your favorite area of support on social media and receive a raffle ticket for one of three Grand Prizes, include #wolvesdayofgiving2025 and tag your favorite WDG fund. Share multiple times receive multiple tickets. Plus be one of the winners chosen at random throughout the day, and receive an extra $500 to the area of support mentioned in your post!

Attend an Event:       All attendees at WDG events will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win one of three Grand Prizes below.

Show Your Spirit:       Wear your WestConn gear and receive a raffle ticket for one of 3 Grand Prizes, and a chance to win a Pizza Party for 8 and $500 to your chosen area of support!  Winners will be chosen at each of the four main events.

EXTRA INCENTIVES FOR STUDENTS:

• First 10 students to make a gift of $5 or more get a Jibbitz gift set (Card with 2 Jibbitz)
• Write 3 thank you notes Get an extra Grand Prize raffle ticket

Check In at the Raffle Tickets table at each event to receive your extra raffle tickets.

Each event will offer chances for additional tickets by taking part in a game or challenge, donating, or sharing #wolvesdayofgiving2025 on social media and tagging your favorite WDG fund.

GRAND PRIZES

First Prize:  $3,000 to your WDG Fund of choice + Wolves pride swag and goodies basket.

Second Prize:  $2,000 to your WDG Fund of choice + Wolves pride swag and goodies basket.

Third Prize:  $1,000 to your WDG Fund of choice + Wolves pride swag and goodies basket.

Grand Prize winners will be chosen from all entries at close of WDG.

Winners will be contacted and announced on Friday, February 21, 2025.
