Ability Beyond & Constructive Partnerships Unlimited Hudson Valley

Members from Ability Beyond and Constructive Partnerships Unlimited Hudson Valley come to the WCSU campus to engage in 50 minutes of resistance training. This program is directed by Dr. Jeff Schlicht, who is assisted by HPX student instructors and volunteers participating in experiential learning as they work with adults with disabilities.

 

 

 

Exercise is MedicineTM on Campus Exercise Counseling Program

Practical Strength Training for Older Adults: A SilverSneakers Flex Program

Classes meet three days a week, T/Th/F from 8-9 a.m. in the Berkshire Gym. The program is FREE for SilverSneakers members and WCSU students, faculty and staff 60 years and older. The cost to the general public is $3.00 per class. Students are encouraged to attend at least twice a week, Tuesday + Thursday or Friday. Payment is made on a quarterly basis, and new participants will have their quarterly dues prorated.
