2011 Connecticut’s best country comes to Ives Concert Park

 

 

 

DANBURY, CONN. — As part of the Newtown Savings Bank Fine Arts & Family Series at Ives Concert Park, Kicks105.5 will present “Connecticut’s Best: Country Music Under the Stars” at 8 p.m on Saturday, Aug. 20, at the outdoor venue on the Western Connecticut State University Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave. Extension in Danbury.

 

The best local country music including American roots, bluegrass and pickin’ & fiddlin’ will be featured, with Goldrush, Jim Allyn and String Fingers scheduled to perform.
