(2016) Traffic alert due to police training on the campus of WCSU


DANBURY, CONN. — Members of the Danbury and Western Connecticut State University police departments will conduct a training exercise that will affect traffic on Eighth Avenue from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016.


The exercise will concentrate in Litchfield Hall, a residence hall on the WCSU Midtown campus. During this time, traffic on Eighth Avenue will be restricted to residents only.


Police officers, including members of the Danbury SWAT team, will be involved in the training.
