WCSU 2017 – WCSU announces spring Coffeehouse schedule


DANBURY, CONN. Western Connecticut State University has released its Midtown Coffeehouse schedule for spring 2017. The Coffeehouse will include a weekly 8 p.m. open mic, followed at 9 p.m. by a featured act performance, on Thursdays during the spring semester in the Colonial Corner (formerly the downstairs cafeteria and snack bar, Student Center) on the university’s Midtown campus, 181 White St. in Danbury. Admission is free and open to the public; donations to support the Coffeehouse are welcome.

Featured performers will include:

  • March 2: All Night Open Mic
  • March 23:  Nick Arne – jazz
  • April 13: All Night Open Mic
  • April 20: Natalie Gelman – acoustic folk, rock and indie. Gelman will open for Bon Jovi on Feb. 28 in Sacramento, California.
  • May 4: All Night Open Mic
