DANBURY, CONN. — Need a quick getaway with the plans already made and a fun group all ready to go with you? Look no further than the Alumni Association at Western Connecticut State University. The following is the list of events:

Sat. June 4 — Elegant dining at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y. Enjoy a four-course banquet at the CIA’s Escoffier Restaurant. The price of $86 per person includes lunch, gratuity and transportation. The menu includes French onion soup, grilled pepper-crusted steak and chocolate pot de crème. The motor coach will leave from the university’s Midtown campus, University Hall, 181 White St. in Danbury at 9 a.m. and will return at approximately 5 p.m.

Sat. July 16 — Fun and leisure at the enchanting Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, N.Y. The bus leaves the university at 8 a.m. and returns at 6 p.m. Reservations will be taken until June 16.
