WestConn to host ‘Wizards of Chemistry’ show


DANBURY, CONN. — Kids love going to work with their parents, especially when the children have a fun activity to do on their own special day. On “Bring Your Child to Work Day,” Western Connecticut State University’s Chemistry Club, a student organization, will host a “Wizards of Chemistry” show at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, in Room 125 of the Science Building on the university’s Midtown campus, 181 White St. in Danbury. The show will be free and the public is invited.

The show is geared toward the young and young at heart with demonstrations of interactive chemistry activities. The WCSU Chemistry Club is dedicated to helping students understand the intricacies of chemistry. They offer “Wizards” shows at various schools and libraries in the community for children 5 to 12 years old.
