CSI accepting applications for 2025 Orientation Leaders!

Position: Orientation Leaders

Duties and responsibilities:

Serve as a positive role model for new students and their families
Attend and actively participate in the Orientation Leader training program
Become knowledgeable through training on various resources and aspects of the University
Acquaint new students with campus services, activities, facilities, and campus rules and regulations
Encourage new students to fully participate in the university environment
Lead tours and discussion groups for incoming students and/or parents
Additional responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications

To be eligible for the position, you are required to meet the following:

Registered for at least 6 credits and have a cumulative 2.0 GPA or above
Be in good academic and judicial standing
Be planning to register for the Fall ’25 semester
Be able to work long days, if needed
Accessible throughout the academic year to participate in other orientation programs as well as large events at the University, if needed
Able to stay overnight, room will be provided, if needed
Desire to assist new students in their transition to campus community
Desire to be a leader and role-model, including on-campus, online, and in the community
Be a team player, flexible, adaptable, dependable, and punctual

Selected students will receive stipends and temporary housing (if needed) for this position.
