About CSI
The Center for Student Involvement was established in 2010 at Western Connecticut State University with the purpose of promoting and encouraging student life on campus, such as clubs and other co-curricular activities. CSI manages over 80 clubs on campus, including Student Government Association, Program and Activities Council, and Fraternity and Sorority Life. Through CSI, students can start their own clubs, plan trips and events, and complete the Leadership, Compassion and Creativity Certificate program. CSI offers an array of different ways to get involved on campus and stay engaged with the university outside of classes.
Having an on-campus job and an e-board position during my time at WCSU impacted my college experience for the better. I met so many incredible people through these roles and was able to accomplish many goals, such as creating events that I myself wanted to see happen on campus. I look back on my happiest moments from WCSU, and most of them involve my job and the clubs I was a part of!

It is so important to get involved, I cannot stress that enough! The skills you learn outside of the classroom can open so many doors for your future. CSI creates new leaders everyday and that office is the reason why I chose the career path of higher education! The staff members have so much to offer the students of WCSU and I hope they take advantage of that before they graduate!
