2014 10-Minute Play Festival


DANBURY, CONN. — The Western Connecticut State University Department of Theatre Arts will present a 10-Minute Play Festival in December that will feature readings of works written and directed by students.

The festival will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 10 and 11, and at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 12, 2014, in the Studio Theatre of the Visual and Performing Arts Center on the university’s Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave. Extension in Danbury.

“Lucky Thirteen,” as the title indicates, is 13 plays that cover a multitude of themes: comedy, lust, intrigue, love, murder, ghosts, suicide and more.

This is the first time the annual play festival will be held in the new performing arts building.
