DANBURY, CONN. —The Western Connecticut State University departments of Art and Theatre Arts are offering an opportunity to unwind at a local business while sipping wine and sketching under the guidance of a professional artist.

“Holiday Sip & Sketch” will be held Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Max Wine & Spirits, 40 Mill Plain Road in Danbury. The cost is $25 and includes wine sampling, hors d’oeuvres, art instruction and basic drawing materials. All levels are welcome, but guests must be 21 and over.

Back by popular demand, the concept of relaxing with cocktails while exploring artistic creativity has become a popular event for both singles and couples. The event will feature sparkling wine and champagne for sipping, and cheese and chocolate fondues.
