Parent Orientation
Welcome Parents of incoming students for Fall 2026!
As your student begins their transition to college at WestConn, we know that this will be a period of transition for parents as well. During orientation you will have a chance to learn more about the WestConn community and all of the supports we have in place for your student to be successful! At WestConn, we take pride in a campus that supports students and fosters their growth as they develop academically, professionally and socially. We invite you to be part of university life here, too. And now, as a parent of a WestConn student, you will have the opportunity to do just that. Our goal is to keep parents updated and informed on events taking place at the university.
Parent orientation takes place on DAY 1 of each of the orientation sessions. Please park in the White Street Garage and follows signs to check-in.

| 12:30 – 1:30 P.M. | Athletics Session Recruited Student-Athletes and their Parents will have a Mandatory Session with the Athletics Department Administration to discuss eligibility, Sportsware, and other pertinent information regarding participating in WestConn Athletics. This session will be at the Westside Campus. Parents will leave immediately following the end of the Concurrent Information Session 2 to drive to the Westside Campus. | Westside Campus Center Ballroom |
