Peter has an MA in philosophy from the New School for Social Research in New York City. Although reluctant to narrow his philosophical interests down to a few subject areas, he is particularly drawn to the insights ethics and political philosophy offer on how we live together. He is also a student of pragmatism and believes Adam Smith is a greatly misunderstood and undervalued thinker. When not teaching philosophy or ethics, Peter works as a journalist, running a small-ish company that publishes specialist news for the financial markets.
