Initial candidates develop a Teacher Work Sample which provides evidence that candidates can assess and analyze student learning, make adjustments to instruction, and monitor student progress. In the Student Teaching Evaluation Instrument (STEI), competencies #13-16 also measure the impact on student learning.
1.4.d.4b	Impact on Student Learning: Advanced Programs – MS in Education EPY 505: Measurement and Evaluation Final Project: Measurement and Evaluation Final Project assesses candidate’s ability to collect and analyze data.
1.4.d.4c	Impact on Student Learning: Advanced Programs –Music Education – In the Music Seminar (MUS 590) candidates demonstrate the transfer of their knowledge a specific topic. The content GPA is also applied.
1.4.d.4d	Impact on Student Learning: Advanced Programs – EdD in Instructional Leadership: Measures the impact on student learning by collecting data upon program completion using the Assessment of WCSU Graduates in Leadership Positions and an extensive qualitative study was conducted with graduates five, three, and 1 year out in Spring 2013 cross-list with 1.4.l.19 and 1.4.j.2 The EdD program established they would survey 5 years out and is in process. 1.4.d.4e	Impact on Student Learning: Other School Personnel (Non-Certification)- BCBA (Will be available when the first cohort completes the program at the end of Fall 2013. The National Organization of Applied Behavior Analysts precludes releasing scores until the program completes.)
