Life Safety Training Session #1

This morning at the Midtown campus, the Department of Public Safety hosted the first of two Life Safety Training sessions. Students and staff learned basic lifesaving skills such as Hands-Only CPR, AED use, bleed control, and administering Narcan.

Thank you to everyone who attended and to our guest instructors, Todd Boe from Code One Training Solutions and Brien LaForge from the Torrington Area Health District.

We look forward to the second session next week on the Westside campus as we continue empowering our community with critical emergency response skills.

If you have any questions about life safety at WCSU, please feel free to contact EHS.
