Hazard Communication (HazCom) is a set of regulations under OSHA that outlines how employers should communicate chemical hazards to their employees. The Globally Harmonized System (GHS) standardizes chemical labeling internationally, improving safety and consistency.
Complying with HazCom and GHS standards is an important component of our work at EHS. We provide training to employees on HazCom and GHS, inventory hazardous chemicals and maintain lists of Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) for all hazardous products onsite.
WCSU uses the UNHCEMS system for inventorying laboratory chemicals. Use the link below to login and view/update your chemical inventory. If you need assistance accessing UNHCEMS, reach out to EHS for assistance.
