SPILL RESPONSE AND PREVENTION

EHS seeks to prevent the accidental release of hazardous materials through training and responsible policy. However, in the case that a spill does occur, we are available to assist with response and clean up. EHS maintains a stock of PPE and spill kits around campus to address chemical and biological spills.

If you notice a release of hazardous materials, reach out to EHS immediately. Do not attempt to clean up materials without proper authorization. Move yourself to a safe area and prevent others from entering until EHS can clear the area.
