Undergraduate Degree Programs:

There are three degree programs within the health promotion and exercise sciences area:

• B.S. Health Education (PK-12)
  Bachelor of Science degree and teaching certification as a school health educator
• B.S. Public Health
  Bachelor of Science degree as a public health educator, with options in Allied Health, Community Health, and Fitness & Wellness

Following completion of a Bachelor of Science in Health Education or Bachelor of Science in Public Health, students will be prepared to sit for the national CHES examination (Certified Health Education Specialist – the credential for health educators)

• B.S. Sport & Wellness Management 

Bachelor of Science degree prepares students to pursue positions in sports facilities, fitness and wellness centers and corporations, parks and recreation, healthcare facilities, and other for profit and non-profit sport and wellness settings or start a sport and wellness venture at some time in the future
