Linda Warren, Department of Nursing

Ms. Linda Warren has been a member of the WCSU faculty since the Fall 2008, first in the role of adjunct clinical faculty and joining the WCSU nursing department on special appointment as Assistant Professor of Nursing in the in Fall, 2009.  She received her diploma from Cooley Dickinson Hospital School of Nursing in 1973 and earned her BSN from Southern Connecticut State University in 2004, an MSN in nursing education from the University of Hartford in May 2008 and a doctorate in Education Leadership from the University of Hartford in 2014. Ms. Warren’s area of expertise is in critical care nursing, having spent most of her career in the critical care area. In April 2004 Ms. Warren was inducted into the Nursing Honor Society, Sigma Theta Tau Mu Beta Chapter at SCSU and is also a member of Kappa Alpha Chapter at WCSU. Linda is a member of American Nurses Association, CT Nurses Association and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. She has been a Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) since 1996. She also continues to participate in the Nurses’ Health Study from the Harvard School of Public Health, a longitudinal research study on nurses and healthcare. Linda is also a member of the State of Connecticut Emergency Credentialing Program (ECP) for Healthcare Professionals.
