We offer free and confidential individual counseling to suppor WestConn student wellbeing. We also participate in outreach activities like wellness workshops and are available for consultation on mental health topics.

  • - Each of the degree programs links a rigorous academic education with opportunities to apply newly learned skills in practical, cooperative internship experiences. The multidisciplinary academic program includes courses in public health, fitness, wellness, personal safety, nutrition, health behavior change, psychology, biology, education, social justice, business, politics, and more.

  • - Your health and well-being are our priority at Health Services, located in the Newbury Hall Annex on the Midtown Campus! We provide a range of services, from episodic sick visits to wellness counseling and sexual health resources. Appointments are required, and there are no costs or copays for visits.

  • - The Institute for Holistic Health Studies (IHHS) is housed within WestConn's Department of Health Promotion and Exercise Sciences (HPX). The mission of the IHHS is to provide the University and Greater Danbury area with an opportunity to engage in and explore different aspects of holistic and integrative health through programming and instruction. Our holistic perspective on health and healing integrates conventional healing with traditional and modern alternative practices from around the world.
