Jon Sideriadis is an illustrator, author, and adjunct professor at the University of New Haven. He is also the Art Director and curator of the Spartan Museum of Art. His specialty is mythological art and storytelling / world building. In July 2020, his original mythology of the cosmos, a book of 200 pages and over 100 artworks entitled Astromythos, was published by The Art Order.

Jon’s works have also been published in film, television, video games, books, comics, board games, trading cards, and the music industry. He has worked in Hollywood as a creature-effects artist and sculptor. Represented by Haven Gallery in NY, he has exhibited in solo and group shows throughout the country, including Society of Illustrators, NYC, Eric Carle Museum, Amherst, MA, and The Gallery at WCSU.

Sideriadis has been a guest artist, guest speaker, and panelist at many conventions, including FaerieCon 2015, 2016, 2018 and IlluxCon 2018. He received the Best in Show Award at GenCon 2019. He has lectured at Trinity College, Paier College of Art, and the University of Hartford MFA program. He has been a featured artist in several publications: Ink Magazine, The Hartford Courant, and the National Herald, among others. A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, Jon received his MFA in Illustration at the Hartford Art School.
