Simeon Ehrlich

Simeon Ehrlich is the Macricostas Endowed Teaching Fellow in Hellenic and Greek Studies. He is a Classical Archaeologist and Ancient Historian and holds a PhD in Classics from Stanford University. He has taught at Concordia and Mount Allison Universities and was previously a Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellow at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem’s Institute of Archaeology. His research looks at applications of technical knowledge in ancient daily life and his fieldwork is focused on the city of Ascalon (modern Ashkelon, Israel) in the Roman and Byzantine periods.
