Day 1 Highlights (Midtown Campus)

• Morning Check-in on Litchfield Hall Plaza (rain: Newbury Hall) & Welcome in Ives Concert Hall 

• • Students and families arrive, connect with Orientation Leaders, and attend a university-wide welcome. Parents attend selected sessions.

• Late Morning Programming 

• • Rotations including ID services, technology sessions, and student engagement activities.

• Lunch & Resource Engagement 

• • Students connect with campus departments and support services through focused informational department visits.

• Afternoon & Evening Engagement 

• • Sessions focused on involvement, advising, recreation, and community-building activities to include entertainment.

• Evening Community Building 

• • Residence Life introductions, social activities, and the overnight experience.

Day 2 Highlights (Midtown & Westside Campuses)

• Breakfast & Title IX Program 

• • Focus on student wellbeing and university expectations.

• Academic Program Sessions 

• • Students meet with deans, faculty, and some of our returning students to learn about their majors on their respective campuses.

• Westside Experience & Lunch 

• • Students shuttle to Westside for programming and dining.

• Student Life & Involvement 

• • Highlights of student engagement, career, athletics, and the arts.

• Closing & Departure

• • Closing ceremony in VPAC, return to Midtown, and check-out of Newbury Hall.
