Anthony Depoto – Adjunct Professor (Playmaking with Children, Children’s Theatre Practicum)

Anthony Depoto (Adjunct Professor) is a native of Danbury, CT, Anthony graduated from Western Connecticut State University in 2009 with a B.A. in Performance. While there, Anthony appeared in three Off-Broadway shows and in 2007 performed Romeo and Juliet at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland.  In May of 2012, he received his M.F.A. in Acting from Minnesota State University, Mankato.  Anthony has also performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. in Mary Zimmerman’s version of The Odyssey as well as other television on film credits.  Anthony has also worked in the Education departments of Hartford Stage, The Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, and Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut.

Anthony is the co-founder of ERA Productions based in Bethel, CT along with being the former Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region 1 Chair of the Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship.  Anthony is the founder and Artistic Director of “innerAct Theatre L.L.C.” based in Sandy Hook, CT, which is a traveling theatre education company that works with students K-12, businesses, sports teams, and boards of education.
