Corey Sorenson – Adjunct Professor (Acting for the Camera)

Corey Sorenson (Adjunct Professor) is a working actor who teaches acting and voice/speech to students and professionals in Los Angeles. He has taught at Temple University, Riverside College, Norco College, Antaeus Theatre, and the Acting Corps. Corey serves as Voice Coach for the Vanguard Repertory Theatre, in addition to privately coaching actors in New York and LA. As an actor, Corey has appeared in over 50 plays across the country, from the classics to experimental work and everything in between, including productions at The Old Globe, Philadelphia Theatre Company, Walnut Street Theatre and the New Group. Some of his television work has included roles on The Newsroom, Chicago Fire, Law & Order: SVU, Numb3rs, NCIS, The Wire and Rescue Me, along with numerous independent films. Corey was the Casting Associate and Acting Coach for the Academy Award winning Dreamworks film, The Help.
